Cat Falling Crazy how good this album is Favorite track: Welcome to Utopia.

Ben It's not often that you come across an album where every song is killer. I've been listening to post rock albums for many years now and I don't think I've ever run across an album with this much depth.
Tom Colquhoun

Tom Colquhoun There's an intriguing dissonance between the warm and luminous melodies and the rough hardcore vocals. Brass, slide guitars, bright keys and other downbeat post-rock staples are present, but with the added tension of an album that can suddenly become surprisingly intense, whether by getting much heavier or doing some very interesting things with rhythm. Favorite track: Northern North.

Joseph Goldthorp I've listened to Eight Horses more than any other album. I've used it to study, I've used it to recover, and I've used it to center. This album means a lot to me now and I don't know how to adequately word that appreciation.

To speak musically, they employ a range of instruments to effectively hit you with a full wall of sound without overwhelming. They introduce and revisit melodies wisely. They build dynamically and take the time to grow appropriately. I think they employ a lot of musical talent and clearly know how to use it all very well.

Octupooz Eight Horses contains the joy and sorrow of loving without touching, the painful rage of being stretched beyond limits and the quaint softness of affection. The tone and progressive structuring of the songs is sure to inspire both memories and fantasies of extreme pathos. Favorite track: Northern North.
Ben Leathley

Ben Leathley In my opinion Wang Wens best release together with 0.7. Harmonies are beautiful, the use of instruments well thought out. Not as hard as some of the band's earlier albums this one is more melodic and mature.
